The GP Karting centre in Nairobi is located in Langata, not too far from Carnivore. It’s an exhilarating experience, especially for those who love cars and speed. It’s something different from the occasional wining and dining and costs roughly the same at Kshs 1300 for a 10-15 minute ride. However the younger you are, the cheaper it is, for example 5-8 year olds get to enjoy for just kshs 900.
At first, you may feel that the amount of money you’re paying doesn’t give you value, but as someone who has driven around, it’s actually just enough time. You don’t get bored driving around monotonously while still feeling exhilarated with the speed and power of the vehicle. Moreover, you don’t have to wait to long in line for your turn.
If you are a beginner, you need to be careful around the bends, but other than that everything else is fine. You get someone to train you on how to use the vehicle before you start, and it’s super easy and quick to get the hang of.
This place is accessible to people of all ages. A group of friends racing on the track in particular would be great fun. Afterwards all of you can get a score card and showing who won or lost.
The staff are also highly professional and totally committed to customer safety.
