Oldie is Goldie, and if you’d like to swap outfits you don’t wear any more for new treasures, swap.lab is the event to do so. You can exchange your clothes for others provided at no expense. I’m a sucker for free stuff, so when I saw the event on Facebook, I was immediately sold and clicked “going”. The following are steps to achieve a successful swapping experience;
- 1. De-clutter – Clean out your closet and find items to swap (cloth, shoes and accessories, washed and in great condition, maximum 10 items per person)
- Swap.Lab – Drop your swap.cloth at the swap.lab and get your swap.pass for it. You can browse the swap.lab all day long and pick your favorite finds.
True to their Facebook description, swapping out the clothes was a piece of cake, shockingly legit and the new outfits I took home weren’t too shabby. Here are a few I collected with some help from a friend;

Leftover clothes that don’t find a new owner are donated to charity, so you also make a positive contribution to the community while having some fun looking for new wearables. If you’d like to attend their event in future, simply pop into their Facebook page here, and keep an eye out for when they’ll be swapping next.
