If it’s not going to shags, the first place Kenyans think of to go on vaction is either Mombasa, Nairobi, Kisumu, Naivasha or Narok (Maasai Mara). These are the basic staples of Kenyan tourism, yet there are so many other beautiful gems throughout Kenya that just don’t get enough recognition.
So here are a bunch of other counties that you should visit besides the basic five or six everyone else goes to:
If you want to go to a place that will leave you with life long memories, Malindi is a place to visit. This town is simply beautiful. Have a visit yourself and see the beauty-beaches, hotels, people, culture etc.
Kericho is simply beautiful. The tea estates, cool environment and different species of tree habitats all make this place a little paradise.
This incredible county in Western Kenya has some of most beautiful green vistas and rocky outcrops anywhere in the world.
More than just the home for oil, Turkana isn’t exactly a tourist destination, but the huge county is absolutely spectacular.
Kilifi isn’t as well known as some coastal destinations but still has some of the most incredible beaches in the world.
Lake Victoria is amazing and maybe the best of the counties to view her from is Bungoma.
A great place for rafting, among other fun filled activities.
