Sounds unbelievable or too good to be true?
I am not talking about chicken inn and pizza inn, I am talking about real good food. Finding real food that is appetizing and filling has become a challenge in Nairobi. However there are some restaurants that have quality food and have positive reviews.
Here they are:
1. Antonio’s Grill located on Kaunda street in the CBD.
You can get a savory meal here for only KSh 400. They are well known for shawarma’s but if you want a budget friendly meal have the sandwich which is served with fries and if you add a soda you can use KSh 500 in total.
2. Paleo Grill.
Paleo is located on Tom Mboya Street opposite Gill House and next to Nila Chemist. You can get yourself a meal worth Ksh 350, a club sandwich with fries. I can assure you, you will leave there fully satisfied.
They have been known best for thheir pilau and biriyani plus their pocket friendly meals. For only KSh 400 you get a full plate of biriyani the best thing about their meals is that they don’t just give you a piece of chicken and a few pieces of meat. Their servings are quite generous and very filling.
4. Swahili plate Nairobi CBD.
Best known for their pilau you can eat a meal here for KSh 400. If you love your coastal meals and flavor then this is the place to go. Swahili Plate is located on Muindi Mbingu Street opposite Equity Bank.
5. Gibsons Nairobi.
Gibsons is a coffee shop off Kimathi Street next to Tribeka nightclub opposite the Nation Center building’s front entrance. You can get a roast beef sandwich for KSh 450 with season fries.
6. Nicks Grill.
Nick’s is located off Koinange Street next to Java Koinange Street. The marinated beef T-Bone steak (STEAK) will set you back a mere Ksh 380 which is not what you would expect for such a fine cut of beef. It is accompanied by spicy kachumbari, coleslaw and fries
